Region’s Citizens Advice Service website now accessible and inclusive

Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service website is now Accessible and Inclusive with the help of the ‘Recite Me’ assistive toolbar.

This gives everyone the opportunity to be able to access our online content by supporting people who may have an impairment that affects their ability to access our web content, or whose first language is not English.

Phil Stewart, CEO, said: “We are grateful to Citizens Advice Scotland for funding this worthwhile addition to our website. We are always on the lookout for ways to broaden our reach to clients to make our Service as accessible as possible. I am delighted that we have the tools to help this happen.

“If you or someone you know would benefit from this accessibility support I would urge you to bring it to their attention, access our website at https://www.dagcas.org and have a play with the tools available.

“I would also ask that if you have any suggestions for improving our content of our website, you feed this back in to Finlay Brown, D&G CAS Communications Officer.”
