This new service involves trained volunteers visiting care home residents to offer companionship, engage in meaningful conversations, and participate in activities that interest the residents. For just an hour a week, you can help us combat loneliness and spread friendship across Dumfries & Galloway.

About the Role: As a Telephone Befriender, you will:

Provide companionship and support through regular phone calls.
Build meaningful relationships with individuals who may feel isolated.
Offer a listening ear and friendly conversation.
