The Participation and Engagement Network (PEN) in Dumfries and Galloway is a way for members of the public, patients, carers and community groups to get involved in improving local services.
The PEN is managed by NHS Dumfries and Galloway on behalf of the Community Planning Partnership.
When one of the partners needs the public’s input in to something they are doing, they will ask NHS Dumfries and Galloway to let PEN members know.
As a PEN member, you might be invited to take part in a consultation, survey, discussion or an event. You don’t need to take part every time, just whenever suits you.
They want the PEN to reflect the diversity of our community and are keen to welcome new members.
To make it easier to join, they have developed an online form which can be accessed via the involvement section of the community planning page at www.dumgal.gov.uk/communityplanning/ or directly by clicking here.
The only requirement is that you are aged 16 or over and have an interest in services delivered within Dumfries and Galloway.
If you have any questions, or need support completing the form, please contact Patient Services by emailing dg.participationengagementnetwork@nhs.scot or by telephone on 01387 272 733 (or via contactSCOTLAND-BSL for British Sign Language Users).
