Mental Health: That’s not my job. Or is it?

Mental health affects every single one of us and our organisations. We usually talk about organisations supporting mental health when they offer targeted services, but is that really the only services that offer support to maintain good mental health or support poor mental health?

The answer is simply, no. Almost every organisation supports their beneficiaries with their mental health in one way or another.

This month, we want to explore what this might look like and the ways in which we can, as a region, create a network of support for our communities. How can you work with others to increase the benefits to your community? What impact does the service you offer have on your beneficiary’s mental health? And how can you ensure while you do this, that you are looking after the mental health of yourself, your staff and your volunteers?

As usual we will have guest speakers from both the third sector and statutory sector, organisation updates and spotlights and our usual tea, coffee, biscuits and networking afterwards.

If your organisation is also interested in holding a stall to promote your services and upcoming events, please get in contact with Lesley Bass at lesley.bass@tsdg.org.uk. All organisational updates should also be sent to Lesley.
