Lothlorien is a therapeutic community near the village of Corsock in rural Dumfries and Galloway. Set in 17 acres of woodlands, gardens and meadows, for over 40 years Lothlorien has demonstrated the value of organic gardening and nature based therapeutic activities to support people experiencing mental health challenges.
We’re now looking for a deputy manager to support the manager in ensuring that Lothlorien provides effective, compassionate support to the people who use our services and that we meet all regulatory requirements.
The deputy manager will contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment in which residents have the opportunity to develop the self-esteem, confidence and skills to work towards recovery and move forwards with their lives.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of managing staff and/or volunteers, service development and working with adults facing mental health challenges, as well as an interest in therapeutic gardening.
