Our Resource Centre in Castle Douglas is one of five centres in Dumfries and Galloway. It serves as a safe space for individuals affected by serious mental illnesses to engage in various activities, develop social and recreational skills and connect with their communities. Support includes personal development plans focused on meaningful outcomes.
As a Project Worker at Change Mental Health, you will play a key role in supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental illness. Your work will involve creating a safe and welcoming environment where people can build confidence, develop social skills, and engage in meaningful activities.
You will provide emotional and practical support, help individuals set and achieve personal goals, and contribute to the development of tailored support plans. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you will identify opportunities to enhance the service and ensure the best possible outcomes for those we support.
Professionalism, strong communication skills and a commitment to person-centered care are essential in this role.
