We are delighted to welcome new leads for both Communities and Sector Support and Children, Young People and Families.
Joanna Jones has started as our Lead for Communities and Sector Support and heads our team of development and support officers whose roles include building sector capacity, collaboration, leadership, good governance, sustainability, planning and volunteering.
Before joining TSDG, Joanna spent eight years working for a regionwide third sector organisation, supporting members, fostering partnerships, engagement and community-led projects.
Also coming on board as our Lead for Children, Young People and Families is Roz Hinds and working under that theme she will also have additional connection to the region’s Public Protection Partnership.
She previously held policy development roles in the Scottish Third Sector, with a strong focus on The Promise and UN Convention on Rights of a Child.
Roz is also a children and young person’s psychotherapist and has published research on the role of hope for young people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
