Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy Leadership Board
The Leadership Board has been established to oversee the delivery of Scotland’s national strategy on Mental Health and Wellbeing.
The Board, jointly chaired by the Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing and Sport and the COSLA Spokesperson for Health and Social Care, will support and oversee the delivery of the ten priorities in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy and related actions set out in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy Delivery Plan and the Workforce Action Plan.
Alan Webb, Chief Executive of Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway, is a member of the Board, part of the third sector group and represents Scotland’s 32 Third Sector Interfaces.
This page will be updated periodically with information from the Board and insights/input from across the sector. Third sector organisations can connect to the delivery of the strategy through various working groups that are already established across several related policy areas.
National sector organisations are also represented by Scotland’s Mental Health Partnership (SMHP) however local and regional third sector organisations and Third Sector Interfaces can make submissions through the form below on aspects of the strategy they would like to be considered by Alan is his role on the Board. From time to time, we make proactively ask for the sectors input to aspects of strategy delivery and will update information on this page.
