Trustees can undertake a wide range of roles but are mainly responsible for
making the charity effective, providing overall direction and oversight. Trustees help make decisions and guide the charity to deliver the best possible service for the young people and the families we support. Being a trustee is very rewarding, giving many opportunities for personal development and the chance to give something back to your local community. We value the diversity of opinion, thought and experience that a new board member can bring. We would be particularly interested in hearing from those with experience in business development and social media/PR.
We need a range of experience and perspectives on what we do to improve our decisions and strengthen our organisation. We proactively encourage inclusion and equality in everything we do. Our existing Trustees range in age from 29 to 75 with backgrounds in finance, nursing, strategic planning, and training.
