Background in cataloging items would be advantageous, however, an enjoyment of admin tasks and interest in history is just as important and guidance can be given.
Good attention to detail and some computer skills.
In addition to the items on display the aviation museum has a vast collection of books, documents, uniforms and other historical items all stored in large hangers. The archivist will be part of a small team who are working on logging all the items which the museum own. If you have a love of history or enjoy cataloging and administration this could be role for you.
