Good communication skills ie listening and speaking, good organisational skills, effective recording skills. A background in any front-facing service provision for young people would be beneficial but not essential. Lived experience of overcoming life challenges and recognizing the long term effects of trauma is hugely beneficial to the role.
The service supports young people between the ages of 16-25 who are facing challenges related to homelessness. The service strives to support and empower young people to meet their full potential and reach their goals. We work alongside young people to help turn a house into a home and provide the tools to enable them to sustain their homes independently.……Could you be a positive role model for a young person? We are looking for people with life experience and a genuine interest in supporting young people, mentoring them to gain further independence, build confidence, self esteem and learn daily living skills.
