The 3rd Dumfriesshire Scout Group in Moffat are looking for leaders and assistants to work with its Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer sections. Leaders and assistants will be responsible for planning and delivering weekly sessions for the young people, as well as keeping parents/carers and the young people themselves up to date on opportunities for badge work, activities and camps.
The leaders and assistants will have the full support of the 3rd Dumfriesshire Scout Group Executive Committee, and will be invited to meetings a few times per year to share ideas, updates and any concerns. We see this role as a great opportunity to give back to the community and Scouting movement, and it may particularly suit someone whose children are currently of Scouting age. We will be happy to discuss with you which section may be of interest to you, and how you see yourself getting involved.
